Yin is a restorative class in that poses are held for longer periods of time (2-5min). Yin yoga uses active pressure by finding equilibrium in the poses. The goal is for poses to feel not too intense and not too gentle. With the use of props, you are encouraged to find the level of intensity that works for you. This class concentrates on ligaments, bones, joints and deep connective tissue. The benefits include an increase in circulation, flexibility and mobility and a greater sense of wellbeing. Yin is suitable for all fitness levels.
Bring comfort to your practice with our Candlelight Flow class. Students are encouraged to soften and lengthen into the poses in this vinyasa style class. You will flow through sequences at a slower pace with the studio illuminated by candlelight, renewing and restoring your body and helping to balance your parasympathetic nervous system.
